Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the firm’s consulting services by identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and implementing effective business strategies. The role requires a dynamic professional with strong sales acumen, market knowledge, and the ability to position the firm as a trusted partner to clients.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, government, and SME sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through networking, meetings, and presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design proposals, bids, and tailored solutions for clients.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the service delivery process.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare and present periodic business development reports to management.
- Represent the firm at industry events, seminars, and conferences to promote brand visibility.
- Support marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns and promotional events, to generate leads.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on business development best practices.
Requirements
- A minimum of B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field (minimum of 2:2 / Upper Credit).
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably within consulting or professional services.
- Strong knowledge of consulting services, HR solutions, or professional training services is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools.
