We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our dynamic Fintech team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating software quality through manual and automated testing, identifying bugs, and ensuring our products meet high standards of functionality, performance, and security.

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on software requirements.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, usability, and security testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, log, and track software defects using standard bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand features and technical implementation.
• Ensure that delivered software meets business requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Recommend improvements to processes and procedures related to testing and quality assurance.
• Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies relevant to the Fintech industry.
   

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).
• Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter).
• Experience testing APIs, web, and mobile applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Experience in Fintech or working in a regulated environment is a plus.
