Join a leading global food company as Head of Sales – North, where you’ll drive performance, manage key client relationships, and shape sales strategy across the Northern region.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute effective regional sales strategies.
  • Lead and develop the sales team to consistently achieve targets.
  • Ensure long-term financial sustainability through solid business strategies.
  • Manage and coach staff in line with the Performance Management Plan.
  • Drive commercial negotiations to secure market share.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and supply chain.
  • Foster a high-performance culture that rewards excellence and loyalty.
  • Set and monitor annual budgets and sales performance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with key accounts.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities and new customers.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Product teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Ensure alignment of RTM (Route to Market) and distribution models with company goals.
  • Monitor regional sales data and competitor activities.
  • Manage promotions, pricing, shelf space, and trading terms.
  • Uphold compliance with company policies, ethics, and legal standards.
  • Champion best practices in sales operations and team leadership.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree (HND/BSc) in Business, Marketing, or related field. Postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in FMCG.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Solid understanding of Northern market dynamics and distribution channels.
