We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure to support critical communication and data services. You will work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure network reliability, performance, and security in a fast-paced and mission-critical environment.

• Network Design & Implementation
• Design and deploy robust, scalable, and secure network solutions based on business and operational requirements.
• Evaluate, test, and select suitable networking hardware, software, and architecture.
• Network Management & Optimization
• Monitor and analyze network performance and traffic patterns to ensure optimal operation.
• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other critical networking components.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide long-term solutions.
• Security & Compliance
• Implement and maintain network security protocols in accordance with industry standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to mitigate security threats.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational policies.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, policies, and standard procedures.
• Provide detailed network performance and incident reports to senior management.
• Collaboration & Technical Support
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to deliver network solutions for projects and operations.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and IT staff to build internal capacity.
• Research & Innovation
• Stay updated on the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in network engineering.
• Proactively evaluate and recommend innovative tools and solutions for performance enhancement and cost efficiency.
   

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Experience:
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in network engineering, ideally within a telecommunications or payment gateway environment.
• Proven expertise with routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Certifications:
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly preferred.

Technical Competencies:

• Proficiency in using network monitoring and management tools.
• Strong knowledge of network security best practices and firewall configurations.
• Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization (e.g., AWS, Azure, SD-WAN) is a plus.
