Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee our quality assurance operations in a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving food safety and quality systems, enforcing regulatory compliance, conducting internal audits, and ensuring product standards meet both company and industry requirements.

Responsibilities
- Setting up, monitoring and documentation of manufacturing specifications for all SKUs- and provide resolution of issues
- Raw materials suitability analysis, (Line process and Shelf-life stability studies) and validation/approval.
- Identify the training requirements to meet the quality standards
- Develop and monitor corrective measures
- Make documentation of internal audits and quality assurance activities
- Plan, conduct, and monitor the test, and inspecting the products to ensure its quality
- Carrying out machinery capability analysis and plotting control charts for all SKUs
- Waste management initiatives, plant trials, new product’s standardization with the Production Manager
- Management of Food Safety System (HACCP) records and daily audits.
- Management of daily GMP, GHP, and GHKP audits of all processing lines, machinery, factory staff and follow up on prompt resolution of issues there from
- Management and resolution of customer complaints on products, weekly graphical analysis, and generation of reports
- Relating with the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) and NAFDAC & other related agencies
- Weekly safety and good housekeeping audits of the factory
- All incoming batch raw materials and products quality assessments (physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis)
- Daily age audits of the raw material store and enforcement of FIFO for all new and existing raw materials
- Calibration of laboratory equipment as at when due
- Any other related task assigned by Factory Manager
- Coordinate the circulation of all QA/C reports and related data for management decision
- Enforcement of Good Laboratory Practices
- Ensure that all activities are carried out as laid out in quality system (ISO 22000)
- To appraise performance of subordinates and advise management on increment, promotions, deployment, and training as and when required

- Sound understanding of quality testing within the food and beverage industry to include microbiological, and sensory evaluation
Requirements
- HND/BSc with relevant professional certification in quality management or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus
- 8 or more years’ progressive work experience in quality assurance/ control roles in culinary, food/beverage industry
- Knowledge of current FSMS Standards (ISO 22000 certification is an advantage)
